Problem with my Sony Bravia Television…can anyone help?
Hi there,
I wonder if any of you can help me. I have a Sony Bravia Rear Projection LCD 50″ Television Model Number KDF-50E2010. I have only had the TV approx 3 years however there is a red and green band running across the top of the screen, which appears to be getting worse.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of this and if so is it repairable??

It is repairable….you need a new light engine.
Your warranty has been extended to June 2010.
Contact Sony, get your purchase reciept, make a copy of it.
BTW that’s KDF-50E2000 not 2010…that model didn’t show up on the Sony website for the USA.
