Looking to buy LCD Television?
SONY 46″ High Definition HDTV Grand Wega LCD Television is the television im concerned about. The problem is I have no idea of of how much it would be worth. This person is selling me it to go for 400$ straight up used for 19 months. Does anyone have a clue of this being a good Price or not? Any good qualities on Sony televisions?

Its 720p, rear projection, LCD. Sony has since retired the line. They might still service it to some degree, but they’re not actively developing the technology (so parts will get harder and harder to find). I agree with the other comment, I think it could easily be older than 2 years, unless they can provide a receipt to prove such.
A brand new 50″ Plasma 720p Plasma can be had for $800. That would be a better image quality TV, a bigger TV, and it would be a brand new TV. He’s trying to sell a 720p LCD which is used and has no warranty. Instantly I’m thinking $300 at best. And that’s if has a receipt to prove that its only been used for that long. If he can’t prove that, then you don’t know how many years of wear are really on it. At that point I’ll give $200, $250 if he begs.
A used TV with no warranty is definitely worth less than 50% of a brand new TV of better specs. $400 is too much for that TV.
