Couple of Wii concerns please help?
1st: I’m using a Monster component HD cable, but I notice that some games look better in 480i with the cable. In fact, the games I have tested (SSBB, Twilight Princess, and Wii sports) all seem to look slightly better in 480i than in 480p with the same component cable. I was wondering why this is? Is it a malfunctioning cable or could it be my TV? I’m using a 32 inch sony bravia 720p LCD television if that helps.
2nd: Occasionally (it has happened maybe 4 or 5 times) when I play a game and go back to the home screen, the game will not read. Like the disk on the top will be spinning, but it wont show up as the disk I’m trying to play. Also, if I go to settings at this point, the screen remains black and does not do anything. I have to manually unplug my wii and plug it back in for it to work again. Please help.
1st one go to setting and the go to tv setting and switch them to 480i to 480p
2nd its normal if you have online nintendo said 20 percent of wii do that while online
