Anyone know the best tv today and where to get a good deal?
I am in the market for a new television set; 36″ Samsung Preferably. There are basically 3 versions available: LCD, Projection, and Plasma. I am really at odds at the best set to choose. I want a great picture and also also want reliability and longevity.
I would really like a flat screen tube tv, but it seems no one sells them anymore. (if they are still being sold, do you know where I can find one?).
Also if anyone can share their experience with these 3 types of tvs selling today, I would appreciate it.
But as far as choosing the right Tv at a great price, can anyone offer any advice?

I’m going to let you do some work, but here’s some basic advice.
Define your needs (viewing distance will determine screen size) and constraints (budget, physical space available, lighting, etc).
But on the assumption you did that before defining 36″. Not a standard size, by the way. At that size you can forget front or rear projection. You might find a CRT at that size, but if you did it would be very heavy. I doubt there are affordable plasmas at that size (they are usually bigger).
So LCD is your logical choice.
As to choosing, google “LCD HDTV review” and you” find professional reviews (look for Cnet) and user opinions (look for epinions).
