My Panasonic Plasma tv picture is fuzzy at times even with HD broadcast. How can I fix it?
I have changed cable providers and had the TV examined by a repairman and told the tv is ok. The background is fuzzy at times and pixelated at times, especially with fast moving pictures. The tv is only 1 year old. Is this the fault of poor signal from the cable/tv shows or do I need to change my HDMI cable? Am I expecting too much of HDtv? DVD is fine.
First, you need to realize that not all stations are HD. When you it is fuzzy, are you watching an HD station?
Second, make sure your cable box is set up correctly to output 720p or 1080i. If you have a Motorola cable box, turn off the cable box and press the power button on the front of the box. This will enter you into the setup menu of the box.
It can also be due to a weak signal. But, I am assuming the cable guy would have measured the signal strength.
