what does it mean when i loose the picture to my rear projection tv when a bright screen comes on.?
i have a philips rear projection tv, the picture fades out when a bright screen comes on. If its a dark picture on than everthing works fine. Someone told me that it is the powere supply that is going bad.
With a bright picture…..
IF it goes BLACK, it’s overcurrent shutdown caused by excessive screen voltage….
If it goes ALL WHITE and No Picture, your Video Jungle IC is bad OR getting bad feedback from the picture tubes…..
I think you need a Phillips Authorized TV repair shop to look at it. Or any repair shop…..
Of course it could also be BLOOMING, and that’s just that the White Balance adjustments need to be done…..
