Panasonic 50 inch Plasma Television questions?

So I’ve been thinking of getting this TV, mainly because it seems like a good deal, I was wanting to know about its life. I work and will be going back to school soon, so I probably wouldn’t be using it as much as others would, how long would its life be in this situation? How long would it be before I get any “dead spots” which I’ve read about plasma TVs having? Also, would the lower price ($799.99) mean lower quality and life, and would there be more pros than cons of getting an LCD over this? Would anyone have any better 50 inch TVs to recommend?
Panasonic is the most reliable brand of HDTVs and more specifically, Plasma TVs!
They have the lowest failure rate of any brand of HDTV in the world! And the technology that they implement into their Plasma’s is cutting edge! There is no problems with burn-in or ‘dead spots’(which i’ve never heard of btw)!
And the reason why Plasma TVs are cheaper then LCDs is because it’s cheaper to manufacture them then LCD! Also…Panasonic has different levels of models. Their C1, X1(…yours) & U1 models are their cheaper, entry-level models. While their S1 & G10 models are the mid-level and the V10 & Z1 models are Panasonic’s High-end award winners!
That TV you picked out is an outstanding TV and should last you longer then you need it to!
