Should I buy a refurbished Samsung DLP TV.?
The price is significantly lower than new. ($300-$500)
The warranty is 12 months parts and labor.
An extended warranty is also available. (Which I will get)
What do you all think?
What are the pros and cons of buying refurbished?
I say do it. DLP is a good value in my opinion, and you have the warranty. If anything is inherently wrong with it, you will know in 12 months.
Refurbished means any number of things — could be that someone bought it and then returned it because it was too small. They send them all back to the factory to be checked out before selling them at a discount
